RANT: Someone just stole my CS badge off my trunk!

I think it happened today! I was at a parking lot for the grocery store and away from my car no longer than 20 mins and when I come out I see that some punk has stolen by CS badge from my trunk! Are they hard to replace? Anyone have one for sale? And what can I do to prevent this from happening in the future?:mad:

Talk with the grocery store to see if they have any surveilance tapes of the parking lot. Many around here do and come in usefull for hit & runs and such.

As far as making sure it doesn't happen again.... don't put one back on or get a decal made to take it's place.

that sucks to hear about though. It's never fun when your car gets violated.

crap that sucks! i've been worried about that with my car as well, ecspecially since i live next to a high school.

Those are for the front fenders of CS Daytona's. What was stolen off of his, was the trunklid CS Medallion.

Those are a lot of money typically. They haven't been on ebay much lately. An '89 CSX one is one htere now I think, bidding over $100 with a few days left.

Well I got a PM from this guy who apparently has a few of them he can sell. I'll get it replaced but I am wondering if there is anyway to make sure it wont get stolen again. Call me crazy but I was thinking of using some type of glue around the perimeter of the medallion.

That may just make it more likely the paint will be damaged when they pull the next one off. Did this one come off clean? or did they scratch things up?

I guess it came off clean, I dont see any scrathces. I definitely want to get it replaced but I want to make it impossible for the badge to come off again.
