If you're open to an auto, my brother is selling a black '90 ES with a built 2.5 (JE's, ARP fasteners, etc). He's in Frederick, MD.

I have 2 89s

One is an ES that has been hit in the driver's side behind the wheel. I did body work myself (looked pretty good) but the bondo job cracked. I converted it to an A555 but never drove it much afterward because the Garrett I put on it smoked and it leaked oil out the back side somewhere. Shifter bolted straight to the floor a few inches behind where it would sit with the floor bracket to make it comfortable for a tall driver (I'm 6'2"). I never connected the bobble strut (I drive easy because I drive so many miles) but did put new tires all around (205 70 R15 on snowflakes, also have fullsize spare on another snowflake). Brakes are good all around, replaced front callipers, replaced rear brakes completely, but the rears make a tapping noise (I hate drum brakes) but they stop fine. Parking brake does not work. I took out the rear heat when the core blew up, replaced the whole side panel from one without rear heat and patched the hole in the floor. I changed the carpet out with the one from the other van, still have the original carpet. The clutch is a brand new T2/T3, about 1000 miles on it probably. Van currently sits because the exhaust system fell apart and I may have broke the auto adjuster for the clutch, but I haven't had time to mess with it to see what's up.

Other van is a base model with no engine but a good A555. Bobble strut is connected I think. I stripped the interior out intending to drag race it someday but I doubt that will happen, I don't have time to mess with it. Has the floor bracket for the shifter, but I yanked the clutch pedal to put in the good van. This van has a 2 1/2" mandrel exhaust, but the downpipe is cut. I'm told the struts were new all around right before I got it and the #2 synchro is noisy sometimes when you downshift but usually ok (I haven't driven it, bought it for parts with no engine). This van is burgundy, and is NOT an ES. It has crab wheels with 205 60R 15 Kumhos (I think) that were new right before I got it.

I'd be up for getting rid of both. Interested?

forgot to say, the white ES has the extra plush interior and a power driver's seat. I have both original benches, and an extra 3 seat bench so you can make the van a 7 or 8 seater if you want to.

eh, I'll say $800 as it sits. The head also had a full valve job about 1000 miles ago (when I swapped the A555 in). Dipstick tube broke off, I spliced it back together with some hard brake line and JB Weld, works like a charm but a little ugly. Also needs vacuum lines straightened out and a PCV valve (just has a breather filter on the valve cover right now).

These pics are from about 2 years ago, but it's only been driven maybe 1000 miles since then and sat ever since. There's a dent on the sliding door and maybe another on the passenger door, can't remember. I'm housesitting 20 miles away at the moment. I will try to get some new pics this weekend when I go back home.

probably just the clutch cable fixed, dunno what that will take. I hacked off the part of the exhaust that was loose (just behind the muffler if I remember right) but it would probably be ok. It would be a hot ride though because the a/c doesn't work. Compressor is there, I removed the other pulley because I knew I'd have to pull the head off again anyway. Also forgot to say power steering squeals, not sure why, might smooth out if you drive it a while, I have no idea. It's been sitting for a year but the tires are all still up and full.
