Hey everyone, I bought this car two weeks ago in Santa Rosa, CA for $1800! It is a 1988 Shelby CSX-T, and it has been in a garage for 10 years. I did a carfax on the vehicle before driving up there and found that it had a clear title and had 110,000 original miles. It has all shelby item's except for the stock Shelby LeMan's wheels. I am the third owner of the car after it was auctioned off from Thrifty Rental cars. The car needs the power steering pump replaced, a CV axle, catalytic converter, and of course a paintjob! I plan on intercooling the car and adding a stage II computer from cindy. Check it out and let me know what you guys think..:thumb:

can someone move this to the Whittier section

Looks good, that engine bay is very nice for the mileage it has on it.

Thats a deal right there guys. If these 88's keep popping up this cheap I'm going to have to talk someone down on their 88 ;) I think those ARE's are sweet on there. Think thats what I might get for daily driving..

Yeah, the CSX-T's came stock with that decal. I never noticed that until this past year. I like it.

Thanks for moving the thread, yes I have registered the car on shelbyregistry thanks DC turismo. By the way do you still have your plymouth turismo? I remember you had that rare "whale tail" spoiler for the L-bodies. Anyways thanks all for the input. I love driving the car around town, I get a lot of looks, a few thumbs ups and very few people who actually know what it is! I went to smog the car and the guy at the shop thought it was a Ford Shelby LOL! It also has the stock SHELBY floor mats and owner's manuel. Does anybody know the horsepower specs on this car? I looked it up and all I found was 175hp/175 ft lbs torq.
