'87 GLHS Charger; A525 (stock); 1-2 are out.
:confused2:Two questions--1. Last post I read on this subject was from '05, who currently sells good quality replacement parts/rebuild kits for this model? Any brands to avoid?
2. We'd like to keep the car all stock if possible, but realize the transmission was a bit weak for the HP/torque the engine is capable of. A local yard has an A555 in a wrecked Daytona--how compatible are the gearsets between the two? I would be looking at keeping the stock A525 casing but replacing the gears. I've seen this mentioned quite a bit but haven't run across an article detailing the A525 conversion.
