..ah so basically they salvage body parts for you. the only really annoying parts on the j-bodies to reconstruct is the rocker panels.

Call around to southern junkyards and see what they have. A lot of places will cut rockers and parts like that off for a fee, plus the cost of the part, and then will actually ship it to you. There is a place locally that you can go to and you tell them what you need like that, they run it through their computer system, and a whole bunch of results come up and you let them call them and they get back to you on availability. Heck the one junkyard will even cut off a rocker/quarter as a single piece section and sell it like that. There aren't replacements, but you can still find the stuff basically and have it cut off.

Agreed. That's what I just did. Found a car with a good solid quarter and rocker. What do you need?

Wow!

Well, I need the river side rocker, rocker extension, quarter panel, and the trunk lid. I don't know if I need the floors or other parts. However, when I'm done with it there could be some stuff you could use if you want it. I need to pick the car up from my friend in Idaho and then I can give you more details.

just let me know if your interested.

I know when the time comes for me to work on the body of this car I have got to make one of those stands I can rotate the body of the car with. ....kinda like a pig on a spit, haha!

I seen that on one of the forums here and thought it was the neatest thing I ever saw.

IF I could find a set of rockers I think I'd do ok reconstructing the rest with sheet metal.

I have an 89 daytona that the floors are rust free in. Not sure if the rockers are the same though

There is a red baron vert in the local yard here. Not sure if its still there but everything was solid on it. Would work for you for sure.

They can be had for shadows daytonas and kcars, never seen them for any other body style.
