Will only a l-body cruise setup work on my 86 charger?

I want to put cruise in, and I have several 86 daytona cruise setups. Would they work?

They can all work. The stalks interchange they are held on by two screws.

Another option would be to just go about pulling the cruise control setup off the '88?-'91? Omni/Horizon models, since they would be L-body specific and all.

also would there be a difference between 5 spd cruise setups and auto ones? (I know there is the extra sensor for the clutch pedal) but what about the cables that attach to the tranny?

Do the 88-90 omni's still use the cruise module with the speedo cable?

If they use the newer style cruise unit then it won't work because it is controlled by the SMEC.
