She fired up last night first try. seems to have a bit of a miss when reving it up a bit. But i'll figure it out!


Score another one for the hybrid 16v club!

Nice:thumb: Your last set of pics didn't have IC tubing and misc wirering IIRC, did you get all that stuff in yet? Ready to drive or is that a ways off? SDAC debut right:rockon:?

hahaha, I just said it was running... I still gotta do the coolent lines for the godspeed rad 9rad is from an integra). and put the DP and magnaflow glasspack on. then i can strat to drive it. next week possably?

This thing is so much fun!!!!

Overall driveablity of the car is so much greater. Sounds awsome and i'm sure it's got LOTS of power, but we'll find that out in a few hundred km's.

The conversion is a great way to load test your drivetrain as an
added bonus, helps weed out the questionable parts :)

I bought new charge pipes and fittings so i can re-mount and plumb my IC. Went to the shop tonight to figure out where to mount the turbo on the new exhaust manifold.

IC should be in this weekend. Exhaust and DP in a cuple more weeks!

Then after that the MS with the EDIS 4 can go in

A pair of adjustable cam gears would be nice to have as well.

I got the IC mounted and plumbed in tonight! One of my buddies came over and helped me out. I used ALOT less piping then I was planning. The IC is mounted a bit higher then i was hopping, I bolted it right to the top rad support. I guess I'll have to do some air ducting to it. I s still need to get a BOV welded onto the pipe.


I guess It's time to focus on the exhaust....

all we've desided is that my exhaust is gonna be an open dump.

I'll get pics of the IC install later.

Oh and I also got a Ford EDIS 4.

So i'm running a stock T3 w/ .63 turbine and a 2.5" SV on the set up and my god. This motor has more torque then I know what to do with!!!! the power starts around 2500rpm and keeps pulling hard till i hit the rev limit. I know this motor has another 1000rpm's in it. i just need a set up that can take it that high.

Your going to spool that turbo easily.

One thing to remember is some tracks require a muffler, :(

hahaha, It's all we got. We keep getting shot down when ever we find a place to put an 1/8 otr a 1/4 mile track. So we all make due and have fun with what he have. Yes will, I do get into 3rd with this motor. In my 90 i'm just topping out my revs in 2nd when i cross the line.

I cant waite to feel the differnce in the car when i get my A523 w/ 3:50FD and the OBX done! Should be a fun set up.

Yeah, and by the looks of that burnout, you NEED that OBX;)

One MOMO T2000 seat installed (drivers one tonight if it dosent rain) and black charge pipes. The yellow trim on the seats kinda sucks, But they are still a hell-of-alot lighter then the stock non-power seats! I still need to buy a 2.5" silicone elbow to replace to factory elbow i have on now.

1100km's on the motor now. Had some detination issues with running 91 octain @ 15psi. Dropped the boost down to 10 and still had issues. Timing is still at 10*. Filled it full of 94 and the detination went away. Still pulls strong at 10psi.

The car:
LIKES 22" x 8" x 15" slicks
DISSLIKES 255/50/16 DR's
LIKES 94 octain
DISSLIKES 91 octain
LIKES 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th gears
DISSLIKES 2nd gear
LIKES moving
DISSLIKES Ideling in trafic
LIKES great gas milage
DISSLIKES paying 164.9/L
LIKES the TU 6puck clutch and yellow PP
DISSLIKES torque steer
LIKES 4500rpm launches
DISSLIKES 6500rpm launches <==== Car rolls foward causing me to red light
LIKES it's new 3" exhaust <=== yes it has a hole in the DP :(
DISSLIKES it's hole in the DP
LIKES driving with the t-tops off
DISSLIKES the fact the heater dosent work
LIKES handeling
DISSLIKES lack of power steering

Are you running 255/50/16 BFG DR's? Hows the fit on those and how wide of wheel?

I had to run them because I didnt want to run out-law class due to my slicks. The tire is verry wide and i had to *mod* my struts to accept them to clear. ALso when ever i turn they bend the fenders pretty bad.

WOOOOOO, well.


I got my exhaust manifold welded up today, Well atleast the old one i had modded. It's now got a T3 flange and an external WG flange. All I need to do now is make the DPs for the WG and exhaust. It's sure gonna be somthing going from a stock T3 w/ .63 exhaust to a 57 trim T3/T4 .63 stage 2 exhaust with a 3" DP.


Oh and I should also mention the shelgame eprom I got as well ;) All i reall yneed now are adjustable cam gears and then we can pay a viset to the dyno once again.
