I am looking for another one of these wheels, they are directional due to the fins on this outside and inside. I need the right. They are a 5X100 Enkei 15X6" wheel. They were made in 87. I was told they were on a turbo Dodge, and I would really to find another right so I have a set for my GLHS. I will sell these if I can't find another one.

I believe (but I could be wrong) that those are stock wheels off of a Japanese car of some type. I can't for the life of me think of which one, but I don't believe they were aftermarket.

Good luck in your search!

I went and searched the internet trying to find one. The wheels I had were Enkie 82's back in the day..

Just as a tidbit, Enkei makes 90% of factory wheels these days. Now that doesn't mean those are factory, but today many stock wheels have the enkei logo on them somewhere.

A buddy of mine had those wheels on his '86 SAAB 900 Turbo... looked like mini 'Vette wheels on it.

I think you are confusing "Enkei" with "Ensure". Ensure makes a great number of wheels for the OEM's, and also has a number of aftermarket name brands.

While that might be right as well Mike, I am most definatelty meaning Enkei. Go find a Mazda Tribute, or maybe it was a Mazda 626 sedan (the newer ones) had the infiniti Enkei logo printed right into the face. Most are on the backside of the wheel now though.

This is straight from my friend Paul, who is a manager at Discount Tire Co. They deal with this stuff all the time apparently, people thinking they have aftermarket wheels because the Enkei logo is stamped on them somewhere. Also, Enkei make's Rage wheels, a cheaper brand of Enkei's through Discount Tire Co. Enkei center caps pop right into them too! HINT HINT Kevin!

Enkei does indeed make a lot of factory rims these days. However I have not seen that style of directional rim on any type car that I can remember.

I put myself through 6 of my 7 years of college busting tires, and I can identify what make most wheels belong on.

That looks similar to some of the polycast wheels off of a tempo, but those are no where near what you have there.

Good luck on your search. You will most certainly need it.

Have you tried contating the manufaturer yet?

Not sure what name, style wise, late eighties, early 90's. Enkies were #'s for names then.

Ask turboking. If anyone here would know he would. I jjust spent 15 minutes and went thouugh 300 picc on yahoo... no luck. Didn't even see my old ones.

If I'm not mistaken, I swear I just seen these wheels on a CRX last night. If they weren't the same ones then they were very close. Maybe start looking at those.

Those look like old Enkie 82's. I've seen them on a number of cars, but they are hard to find anymore. They were made in the late 80's early 90's and are now out of production. I personally like them....

I had a set of these on my Shelby Charger. They got pretty beat up over the years so I replaced them with a set of pizzas back in 1999. There are only 14x6’s, they are taking up space in the garage and I'd like to get rid of them. I can send pics if interested. By the way I do not have any centers.

These were used to make Shelby Chargers and GLH cars look like “S cars” quite often back in the 80’s
