Since she's all shiny and sparkling now I figured I'd throw in my car for nomination. It's a 1986 Turbo Z C/S, red with balck leather and t-tops. She has 112,XXX original miles on her and runs like a dream. Fully optioned, everything still works and the t-tops do not leak!!! I've owned her for going on 3 years now and have done the following to her:
New head gasket and timing belt upon purchase
New rebuilt A-525 tansmission
New front wheel bearings
Replaced intermediate shaft and driver side half-shaft (after rebuilt tranny was put in, never sheered the splines before, so that was new to me, lol)
Installed a MP Stage 2 logic module
New paint in 2008
Added 15" tires/ wheels from a GLH-T I bought a couple months ago, wheels are Excel ?!? (idk, they look cool to me :D) and Tires are Toyo Proxies 4
Various dress up pieces such as strut mount covers, Lebaron woodgrain dash, 84 style steering wheel, painted valve cover and air box.
I owned a N/A base 86 Chrysler Laser in college and loved that car, just didn't care for how slow it was. I always loved the style of the 1st gen Daytona's and alwayd vowed if I came across a decent one I'd buy it. This car has spent it's whole life in WNY (I am the 2nd owner), I have a TON of receipts and literature on this car, and even the original window sticker!
Here's some new pics:
