I've heard some things about a T28 VNT turbo.. Anywhere here have one or used one?

I had one in my VNT Daytona. It was alright; it could do 20psi, but suffered from overboost worse than the stocker. If you try one you will probably want a cal for it; FWD offers one I think and I have a free one posted that can be customized for the T28 (also I set it up it to help reduce overboost).

That sounds like the ticket for my lancer. I'd like to try to have a similar setup in my car as the car my mom will be getting(90 shadow VNt) to help with any troubleshooting that might arise in time to come..

When I had my VNT, I stuck a FWDPerformance Stage 2 SBEC on the car. Man did that thing haul butt.

Wish I still had that car, actually.

I'm hearing A LOT of good things about the FWD performance VNT cals. Sounds like even my mom daily driver would benefit from one.. hmmm..

my buddy put the 16psi fwd cal on his 89 csx with the stock turbo and drag radials and i swear if you could keep it straight, it was a high 13 sec car.

Sweet. I'm wanting to go VNT on a car for sure.. Probably a 90 shadow or CSX-T. Or maybe go 3"SV T2 on the T P and put a VNT in the H. Whats funny is that if you didn't know TM's you would be completely clueless as to what I just said.
