Ok I left a message or a few with a board member on BM.com but no response, So I figured I would try here.

Car is an 87 shelby z with an 89 CB 2.5 with walboro 255, Open exhaust, t2 garrett with low miles, 4 puck disc, and will have FMIC,
For right now I just need a basic good solid recal LM with a few extra pounds of boost

15 is fine..

Let me know asap

thanks

You can also get some good info from Una's site and D-cal. His site I believe is www.turbododge.info.

If you are just trying to bump it up a couple of lbs. use a grainger and be done with it.

Hes right, that would be the best overall route for reliability and cost. You can also bump your cam gear advanced a tooth for a little extra response. It wont help the boost as the valve does, but it will help your engine work with the extra boost more effectively.

Adfvanced 1 tooth would be 9* if I am not mistaken. That is a whole lot of advance.

only problem with those options is the fuel problem... I do not want to run lean. But TU takes forever and I need a cal asap. And being im going to stay with my 87 electronics with the 89 2.5 I need something that will work well with that and give me a little extra power. And I know the 91 program has hellacious torque so that is kinda of what I would like?

Thanks

The problem is that 87 was kinda an odd year for the LM, 86 cals I don't think will work. And most cals are made for either the 85-86 LM (GLHS) or the 88-89 SMEC systems. Look in the file section on D-cal though, I think there is a good cal in there for an 87. I think it's an 87 CSX cal??

Also it was the first year for the map to mounted under the hood.

I have acually found much more support for the 87' TII cals. I have decided to go that route rather than GLHS electronics for that reason. The under hood map is no big deal to wire in.

If you go to www.moparchem.com there is a wealth of 87 TII cal info.
