Today I was out driving, and when I left my gf's work, my car died because my foot slipped off the clutch. When I attempted to start it again, it died twice before it finally caught and continued running, and then it ran without a problem. Also, when I turn on the AC the car runs a little difficult...thoughts?

Define "runs a little difficult" They aren't powerhouses and you notice when the compressor cycles on while driving.

I'm guessing the stall is unrelated.

Yeah my Geo storm was a real turd when I had the a/c on and it was a stick, but it sounds kinda like a coil pack or O2 sensor on a neon.. I haven't really done anything with those cars with the idle air bypass, but I have had one go bad on a Jeep before so maybe thats whats goofing up..

I've had that happen on my Shadow, Lancer, Daytona, Neon, Escort, SRT4, Accent, Acclaim, and every other car with a stick. It's like the AIS can't figure out what the hell happened so it has problems restarting. No big deal.

As for the a/c, on the 2nd gens you'll feel the a/c working. I wouldn't worry too much but if you have a warrantee and it's free then maybe take it in.

Normal for the little 2.0 to be a bit sluggish with the AC on.

Awesome! :thumb: I thought there was possibly something wrong with it, and I was gonna be super upset. But, after the AC was off, it works fine! I just leave the AC off when I'm driving around town, turn it on when I'm on the road.
