how do you take off power mirrors

i need to repaint the p/m on my spirit but i don't want to tape off half of the car to do it. how do you take them off without cutting the power lines?

thats fine but it's a pita cause i need to fix some nicks on them with body filler. there is also a wasp nest in the one i would like to get out.

it should have 3 nut on the inside of the door, you'll have to remove the door panel and that triagnle top trim bit. then it just unplugs somewhere in the door. if you wanna remove the electrical from the mirror housing, then you need to use a heat gun to heat up the glass and pull that off and you'll see some screws to remove the electrical part.
