I was driving about 45 or so and the fuel pump quit. I would push on the gas pedal and nothing would happen. I got it off the road and popped the hood. THe fuel pump turned off while driving. I had some wire in the car and ran a line from my 12V battery source to the coil and the pump primed, but wouldn't with the key on. So I made it a jumper cable to get it to back home.

This is on my CSXT...anybody know where the fuse or fuseable link is for the fuel pump on an 88 TI?

Thanks in advance.

Just curious, but if you check your codes will it show a 42?

might be the asd relay.

Yeah, I believe that is what it is. (No codes were thrown) It was upside down it appears water from a recent rain did it in. It was the only time the car has been in the rain! I was coming home from the Dyno.

Mine died after a car-wash once, they must not like getting wet.

Or being upside down and wet. I've sprayed the engine bay of mine plenty of times w/o that problem.
