where do i look for my paint code on my 88 reliant?

anyone know what the paint code is for the tan thats on the car?

stupid deer jumped out of the ditch and right into the corner/side of the car.

replacement parts are on the way though. :)

Look on the Fender tag under the hood (probably on the core support). The paint code shoud be a couple lines from the bottom, P something something, followed by Q something something.

P is the primary color, Q is the secondary color, since your car is not two-tone both codes should match.

Paint code is on the little plate on the radiator reinforcement. Itll be two letters and one number. for example black is PB1.

yeah i have the fender at the house. this week ill pull the old one and see how the new one fits. where is a good place to get the paint? NAPA?

i gotta pull the underneath metal too but thats easy. :) I'll need you to spray the front fiberglass piece as i have to do a little work to it. it cracked in one spot. a little tiger hair should fix that.

I would go to a local paint shop to get paint, they will put the machine on your car to get a mixture. You can get stock paint but it will look 'brighter' than the rest of the car.

+1 or if you dont care that much, considering you have a 5 gallon can sitting in your trunk for washerfluid or the wiring looking like you made a nice nest for some rats, you can just go get some stock paint and be ghetto. Thats how we roll in NY. LOL

naah i cleaned up that rats nest. :) im looking for a can thats not so ghetto and i actually have a pump for alky this time. :)

If youre gonna be in Rochester, go over to Aratari near Lasky's house......thats where I bought the paint for the CSX bumper and rims.

I had a deer do the same thing. First time ot was a buck that slammed into my sundance, tore off the mirror and scratched up my DS window with his antlers/horns/head sticks.

The second one happened on fort detrick in frederick. I stopped to let him cross the road, and another buck casually walked up to my car, lowered his big stupid head, and slammed into the drivers side fender. turned my side into the general lee (out through the window). Wildlife sucks.
