Is the drain tube on the T-III different than 8-valve cars? I got under the car to look and found that mine was much larger diameter than what I'm used to seeing.
Is it specific to the T-III or can I just replace the rubber like I always have in the 8-valve setups?

The actual rubber part is the same as 8v, the elbow on the turbo is different. I also found on mine, the metal sleeve that goes into the aluminium came loose and had to reglue it. Chased that one for a few months, drove me nuts.

That's what I was wondering...the elbow threw me for a loop.
Thanks Simon! :thumb:

That rubber is special high temp silicone, be careful what you use there. Lots of heat from the impeller housing and from the hot oil.
