My dad and I have some GLHS steering wheels that we need to get rewrapped for our cars. Has anyone had a wheel rewrapped with success. If so, can you send me the contact info so we can get things wrapped up here. lol!

If anyone knows a company that is reputable and does rewrapping, this would help too.

Thanks folks!

Dan

I wrote someone who gave me a link not too long ago of a company they recommended. I didn't bookmark it though, but do expect them to write me back in the next day or two with the link. From what I saw on the site they did a fantastic job and they're who I'm planning on sending my CSX wheel out to since they do the exact stitching (baseball stitch or something like that I think?).

Google for companies that restore the old Mopar Tuff wheels. That's what was linked on here not too long ago, looks like it'd be the place to go.

To have a GLHS steering wheel rewrapped costs 250 dollarsat the american-stitches. 225 dollars if you have two or more to be rewrapped. The shifters for the GLHS cost 200 dollars a piece to have rewrapped. No deals! But the end result should be spectacular for the money it costs to rewrap them. Just thought I'd put that bit of info out there! They told my dad that they are redone to the factory specs. So I'm assuming you can't get any closer to new.
