Are you the one with the "infamous" Chrysler 300 with nitro ?

Carl,
Just remember if you come you have to leave rubber in the street when you come. If you want to bring your girlfriend my wife could stand some company.

I'll most likely bring the green Neon. It's plenty powerful enough to rip up those tires. Or... might bring the Escort wagon if Christine and I decide to go to the junkyard that day too. As for my fiancee, it'll be better if she stays home. She's just not a people person at all. Trust me.

Mr. K remember to go to the JY during the day:thumb: Also you should bring your better half as well. Shes never going to break her anti-social ways if you keep her locked up in the basement.

Pick and Pull is my friend. She's getting there... but she takes it slowly. Groups of people she's uncomfortable with but a few at a time she's getting better with.

I fought with the same things shes going through for quite some time. Yes pick-n-pull is definitely the best. All other yards should bow down. Good luck with selling the vert. We will call you the neon rainbow master.

I'll be there Jim, either with the new truck or the neon most likely. Kate may be coming with but I'm not sure yet.

Dave, i don't think i've seen you once in any of your turbo dodges driving it :confused2: I would bring my other blue shelby, the one will be offering to the shelby club first, but its not registered.

I used to daily drive the Shadow and the Turbo Van before I got the neon, but lately haven't driven any of them. Should all change this summer.

It would be nice to see you driving a TM again Dave. While your collection is impressive, it is even more impressive to me that you are never seen driving any of them! :thumb:

Does it count that my wife thinks the neon has a turbo?

The Shadow will be back on the road again soon, but not a daily driver. I really have the bug to get a turbo rampage put together this summer to drive to work every day.

WickedShelby88
04-10-2008, 01:24 AM
lol.. Yeah I don't think my second two TD's counted myself as they didn't boost. Not sure what was with the 85 SC and the 86 Tona TZ wouldn't get out of its own way not to mention the boost gauge never really crawled past 3..

Dodge Aries K
04-10-2008, 02:06 AM
I don't have boost but I will have 16 valves of DOHC 7600 RPM loving power available to me. :p

I'd actually like to turbocharge a Neon someday... *wishful thinking*

WickedShelby88

If you recall that one guy we rode with did it cheap and was still using the stock ECU at the time. He was running it on a SOHC. You could easily do it on a DOHC with the right bottom end parts and better exhaust valves.

That guy we rode with... jesus you should see his car now. He told me he has about $15,000 into the drivetrain of that damn thing! It's INSANELY fast.

It would be very VERY easy to get a turbo on the DOHC engine (SRT-4 exhaust manifold/turbo unit) but you in all honesty need a megasquirt and some sort of fuel return system for it to work properly. The stock DOHC engine loves I think up to 12 PSI before you have problems. I'd just run it at 10 PSI intercooled and call it a day. :)

But, as why I'm selling the GTC, no funds for that just of yet.

If it keeps raining though, I will probably just drive the DeathScort...

WickedShelby88

There is a kit on the forward motion site I believe for said return line.

Setting up the return is easy,Ive done a few of them.10 PSi max to play it safe. The stock rods wont take much more and if it detonates its toast.

Here's the website for that event:
http://www.shelbyfest.net/html/itinerary.html

I've never been to that one as it's down near St Louis, but it looks interesting. Looking at the 2007 pictures it was all Fords that showed up, and looks to be geared towards them.

If your looking for a big gathering of Shelby Dodge products come out to SDAC-18 in Michigan this year, it's the biggest event specific to these cars each year and a really good time:D

A few months back at the first Team Shelby event, we talked to the folks allllll the way up the chain at TS, they emphatically assured us that the Shelby Dodge cars (as well as ALL shelby cars) would be welcomed at all TS events. At that event, the SD cars and owners really were made to feel welcome. RIP SAAC, long live Team Shelby:amen:

Hey, i think i saw you one time...i use to work at that firestone on wise and roselle road. One time a kid in a charger was sitting at the country doughnuts parking lot and looked like he eyed down my red 89 daytona shelby with t-tops. Was that u? I am located in bloomingdale, so fairly close to you, i have NEVER seen a 89 shelby in my area other then the 2 i own too! lol
