wtb: A555 transmission

I need an A555 transmission, I was told that they dont sell 2nd gear anymore and mine is slightly grinding. So I need a new one, post mileage/condition/price

Do you need the gear or the synchro ring? I might have a junk trans that I could take parts from for you. Let me know what you need if you want to go that route.

Yea mine's still for sale. I haven't really been pushing to try and sell it but it's up for sale. It's actually a rebuilt tranny by Cliff Ramsdell in fact.

Has 0 miles since rebuild I haven't even ran it in my own car yet.
