Did they just add C/S badges on here or what?

That's legit. Why are you questioning it?
It's also a boardmember's car.

I believe that is legit, he is a board member as well.

yes, it's legit.
The '91 C/S Daytona was option code AGS, and it is though that only 150 were made. Came with the non-intercooled "hi-torque" T1 and the A-568 transmission. Only "luxury" was A/C and power mirrors.
I know, because I used to have one :)

Wow thats so cool. I figured it was someone on here selling it. I should have done some reading to refresh my memory, since I'm not exactly a shelby expert. I've never seen a C/S package on anything newer than 1986. But thats because its such a rare car. Thats a really cool car, and I wish him the best of luck selling it!

What always confuses me is that some of the C/S' don't have "nostrils" on the nose. I thought all Daytonas after '89 had the "nostrils".
The Daytona in the ad looks like a '89 on the outside, but the airbox and coil are definately from a '91.

All of the '91 C/S's had the same nose-piece, without "nostrils" as those came on the ES and Shelby models.
And if you look closely enough, you can tell it's a '91 because of the newer-style cockpit/instrument cluster.
I know this is a legitimate '91 Daytona C/S "AGS" and I was going to buy it for myself after losing the Shelby Lancer, but I don't want to deal with the electronic problems... that is the ONLY thing keeping me from buying this car.

I know...the electronic problems with that generation Daytona suck bad! I have enough of them myself, so I know first hand!:yuck:

The Daytona I had had some spooks inside.....
The '91 C/S Daytona's even had the "speed sensitive" locks too, something like 15 or 25mph would automatically lock the doors.
I had that daytona for like 2 years, put 50-some-odd-thousand miles on it, and they worked maybe five times.... total.
I'd just be cruising along, all of a sudden the doors would lock. Which was really weird considering the power lock buttons wouldn't work either.
Then there was the times where the wipers would come on whenever I hit the left turn signal.... headlights wouldn't go down without taking out the fuse and tapping it against some metal... it was crazy.

nice thing about the 91 daytona cs is it basically a stripped car w/ only the hot drivetrain and chassis parts from the shelby. certainly add an intercooler and perhaps a garret turbo in place of the mitsu. that car already has the hottest tranny, a 568 ('91+ tranny's have the larger input shaft too).

This is my car. Yes it is a legit AGS competition package car. I LOVE the AGS competition package cars, I also have an 89 C/S AGS, and I had another 89 C/S AGS a few years ago that was sadly rear-ended and totalled. I had the 91 C/S listed on ebay for $1400 with no reserve but got no bids. I'm probably going to put the car into storage. I bought it for $1600, and I can't see selling it for less than $1400 just to get rid of it. The power feed issue I'm sure is something simple, I'm just not terribly good at dealing with those kinds of issues, otherwise it would be fixed by now. I have the common turbo dodge curse many of us have, too many TDs and not enough time. I was selling this one so I can get my 89 C/S done and my GLHS finished.

I thought the price was good for the condition. Sorry I couldn't get it, no room for another car right now or I would have bid on it.
Storing it sounds great :)

I thought at $1400 someone would snap it up, especially with all the work I put into, and I paid $1600 for it!
