Heres the story on this car,
My grandpa purchased this car brand new in February 91 and had been the happy owner of it for 13 years. I purchased it from him in 2004, bone stock, and have been the proud owner ever since.

The reason I am forced to sell this is I just purchased my first home with my soon to be wife, and money is tight, and with 3 cars, this one has to go. Im a hard working Mechanical Engineering student that just doesn't have enough time for this car anymore between work and school.

This is a California car with ZERO rust. This car has a clean title, and runs perfect. Always had synthetic oil changed religiously at 3k miles or less.

The car currently has 78,000 miles on it, 28,000 of which I put on it.

Mods to this car are as followed:

Engine:

-Stock bottom end, with exception of new clevite77 bearings (about 5k miles) that were replaced when I took the block and head in to get resurfaced. The head was only .008 off and the block was only .003 off, but I wanted to be sure things were flat for the Cometic head gasket. All bearing surfaces were plastiguaged and looked good. I still have all the original bearings in a bag if you want to see them, they are in great shape!

-cryo treated intermediate shaft AND oil pump gear with new bearings pressed into block.

-ARP head studs

Head:

-Stock original casting. This is one of the good ones with 3-4 threads exposed on the core plugs from the factory and has NO CRACKS!

-FWD performance adj. cam gears.

-good lifters, with the exception of one that ticks slightly when engine oil is warmed up (I have a brand new lifter, just never installed it).

-gates timing belt

-Like previously stated, ARP studs.

Transmission

-Stock a568 tranny, shifts perfectly.

-RPS clutch, grabs real good, but is very streetable

-New shifter cable, and all polyurethane bushings

-Modified shifter to be a real "short shifter"

Turbo:

-Turbonetics super 50 trim, .63 AR exhaust housing.

-Turbos Unleashed 3 inch swingvalve very modified to work with the T3 housing, but works well

Exhaust:

-3 inch mandrel bent from turbo to exhaust cutout, then goes to 3 inch cat, 3 inch magnaflow, then 2.5 inch press bent all the way out back with another bullet right behind bumper (hidden). This thing is a sleeper :-)

Intercooler/ piping

-Intercoolers only bar and plate intercooler, around 700 cfm if I recall

-2.5 inch mandrel bent pipes with silicone couplers

-3 inch mandrel bend intake with KN cone filter

-TurboXS RFL blow off valve mounted right before the throttle body.

Alky injection

-multi-port injector setup with 4 5gph injectors.

-Devils own controller mounted hidden in cab under armrest

-shurflo pump

Fuel system

-in tank Walbro 255 pump

-acufab afpr

-under hood fuel pressure guage

-40+ injectors

Boost control

-Greddy Profec B Electronic boost controller with 2 stages, controlled with remote switch on the steering wheel, this is a very sweet setup. This is hidden in the cab under the armrest as well.

Computer

-FWDP stage 4 (currently waiting on a more custom cal to come from Cindy)

-3 bar map

-40+ injectors

-Currently running 15 and 23 pounds of boost

Suspension

-Koni front adjustable struts (yes the ones they just stopped manufacturing)

-KYB gas adjust rear shocks

-Eibach springs

-All polyurethane front bushings

-New balljoints

-Rear boxed in axle and trac bar

Tires/wheels

-4 BFG g-force sports (70%) mounted on snowflakes

-2 23X8 slicks mounted on snowflakes as well for the track

Guages

(all guages very nicely mounted, they look like they came in the car)

-Autometer boost

-Autometer EGT

-intake air temp (sensor mounted in intake manifold)

-Water temp (stock one is tempermental)

Exterior

-Paint is 2 years old, from Earl Sheib. It was a $650 dollar paint job, and the paint is good, its too bad some dumbass had to be the one to paint it, because they didnt mask the car very well. Its not too bad, just some of the black rubber window trim has some white on it. Paint is an 8 out of 10

-Car has very few dings, and they are small. Just your average door dings, no big dents. The body looks good from close up.

-The windshield has a crack going across half of it horizontally. It is strictly cosmetic, and does not leak or anything.

Interior

-pretty clean interior, no rips or tears. I would give the interior an 8 out of 10.

-car came with manual door locks and windows, but I put in factory power locks

-HVAC controls have temperature selector stuck in the middle. All the other functions work perfectly, aside from the removed AC. What actually happened is the temp selector got stuck and I pushed it too hard and something inside it broke and I havent cared nor had the time to fix it because it is conveniantly stuck in the middle. The switch moves freely left and right but has no resistance, and to be honest I bet nothing is even broken, but something that just popped off.

-Cruise control is still connected and works perfectly.

-Very nice grant steering wheel. This was kindof a pain to install but came out very nice and functions as it should (blinkers cancel as they should), but the Horn was never hooked back up, not a big deal for me, I never used it.

Alarm

-Pyle 2 way car alarm with keyless entry. The receiver works up to a quarter mile away with real time status on the car, like doors locked/unlocked, door open, car running, etc.

Misc

-relocated battery using lawn tractor battery. Has enough amps to crank just fine even in sub freezing temps.

-Recouted vacuum lines for cleanliness

-radiator out of a NA car, much bigger (not that this car has ever had an overheating issue) and bolts in perfectly after the stock intercooler was removed.

-This car came with ABS, which has been deleted, but I still have the original parts

-This car has a power drivers seat

-AC has also been deleted, but I still have the original parts

-MSD custom length Spark plug wires

-Stereo was taken out of my 98 Jeep Cherokee and was a direct bolt in/ plug in. It has a CD player and Cassette player. This stereo was a $370 option on the Jeep!

A quick note, these pictures are about a year old, but the car still looks just like this, except I have cleaned up the underhood wiring some. Also, the car has new plates that read "4SFEDRT" (that means force fed R/T just in case).

Although I haven't taken this car to the track that many times, my best time has been a 13.03 @ 105, though this car consistently runs 108.5 mph trap speeds (Ive only raced with the slicks 1 night and didnt hook up until the last run, where I happened to have just upped the fuel pressure, and the car ran like crap). Every time I race its with the exhaust capped (2.5 inch suffocation) becuse they wont allow the noise at my local track. I know this car can break 110 mph and the 12 second barrier with a good driver and the exhaust uncapped.

I am currently working on getting the car to pass our strict California smog visual test but will return the car back to the way it is before I sell it.

I am asking $5500 and I am pretty firm on this price, as I have waaaaayyyy more than that into upgrades alone on this car. Please, no low ball offers.

Im sure there are more things Im forgetting, and I will update this accordingly.

I am best reached at Jeppler3@gmail.com

I am located in Sacramento, CA.

Thanks

-Jerry
