I need a fuel pump pick-up assembly for a turbo Omni or Charger. Don't have to have the pump itself, just everything else from in the tank.

Thanks,
Jeff

You can use one from an '88-'90 TBI Omni. Other than the pump itself, the hangar and level sender are exactly the same.

Glad to help. The tank and sending unit in my own GLH Turbo are from an '88 Horizon w/TBI. I got a Walbro 255 ltr/hr pump from FWDP that dropped right in place of the TBI pump. I still have the sending unit from my original GLH Turbo that I would sell but it's 250 miles away and I have no idea when I'll see the car again thanks to work.:banghead:

Can these still be sourced new by chance? My fuel level sending unit doesn't work.

I found new units at RockAuto.com for $400. A bit pricey for my little Omni.

If you are converting a carb'd car to efi or turbo, use the tank itself from an injected car too. The carb'd tanks are different and not baffled like the fuel injected cars are.

Did not know that! I've got an 87 GLHS shell with a good tank i can use. Too bad it didn't come with the fuel pump. Thanks for the good info!

New (aftermarket) tanks are also only about $110 shipped on ebay.

88+ omni efi gas tanks are the same as the turbo omni/charger gas tanks.

When I called the dealer they said the omni and charger gas tanks are different but they are in fact interchangable. Just make sure to get the one with the internal pan/baffle as stated above if you are runnig a turbo car!
