Testing 87 lebaron digital dash

I scored a digital dash today out of an 87 J-body out at the junkyard, and I want to test it. Is it possible to do so out-of-car? All I want to see is that it lights up.

And yes, I have the pigtails and about 8" of wire. I imagine if I feed +12v to pins 25 and 26, and ground 20 and 23 it should light up?

For reference yes, that is how one tests a digital dash. Lights up nice and bright :D

Black Orange and Black Green for ground.
