I am looking for the rubber trim/strip that runs along the base of the window on the outside. I need one for each door in great condition.

Son of a ..... LOL.

I am now almost considering about cutting up the green car. I can use the cage in the Daytona, sell the fuel cell, use the rubber strips on the CSX, sell the now rare koni and eibach, and use the other performance parts between the cars.

GRRRR!

I've been looking forever also. Probably end up using something from JCWhitney. What year are you looking for? I believe 90 and up are different than 87-89. Or maybe its 87-88 and 89-up

hmmmmm - I thought it was 90+ were different?

Now you've got me thinking - I parted out a 90 shadow es a few years back that I know had good scrapers. I'm going to have to pull those doors out and check it out.

I hope you're right Dave because I need one for my 87 csx too!

I have a brand new set also, but I put them on my CSX. Love to find another new set, but I'm not holding my breath waiting to find them. Good luck.

Well i've got 2 good sets of window scrappers from 90 cars that are the same from 87-90. Mine are silver so they will need to be painted but the rubber is extremely good and came off 50k and 65k cars.

Whats a fair price for these?

here are pics of one set that is ready to go.

Other set is buried in a storage car and could be located once these are gone.

All the P bodies I find in the local yards are 91+. My 88' ES needs scrapers too, I remember a thread not too long ago where somebody was thinking about trying to get somebody to produce them but we needed like 100 of them minimum or something?

If the rubber is in decent shape (no cracks, chunks missing, etc. ) you should be able to get an easy $300 for the pair. Then again TD guys are cheap, so you will probably get someone wanting to trade a six pack of Sam Adams and a rusty Omni bumper, or a glove box that was coughed on/fondled by Carrol himself :p

Only alternative at this point for the 87-90 cars is to change over to the 91-94 style and grind off the trim mounts on the top of the door (with ha repaint, etc.) or work with the JC whitney pieces...

No kidding. I bought a new set for the CSX back in 1999. They were $125 each from Mopar and there weren't many left. I wish I had bought up more of this stuff from Mopar back then. Oh well...hindsight.
