I bought this truck yesterday and just picked it up today. It's a 1997 model. I've been wanting a newer extended cab to replace my 1990 D-350 and since the baby is on the way, I took the plunge. It's almost exactly what I was looking for. 12 valve, 5 speed, back seat, SLT trim, etc. The only way it would have been better is if it was silver and a Quad Cab.

I will shoot some better pictures when I clean it up.

Looks great! You will love the power! Mine is a later model but looks similar. Best truck I've ever owned.

Looks nice Kevin, you have got to be the first person I've seen that could park a Dually in their basement:thumb:

Noticed it's got the cupholder bin thingy from Geno's Garage, got the same one in mine, was the best thing I've done to the truck. Makes for a great spot to put the cel phone and a water bottle when I'm on the road.

Nice looking truck. Has the 5th gear nut ever been updated on it. They are notorious for backing off and damaging the trans.

Im looking forward to warmer weather here.Im going through Diesel withdrawl.

I could park four of them in the basement. :D

I like it too. It's the next best thing to having the 1998-2001 interior. My 1998 SS/T's dash/cupholders beats the pants off the 1994-1997 dash. I was hoping I could find a 12 valve 1998 QC truck, but they are hard to find.

That's a new one to me, so I'll have to ask the previous owner and do a little research. Thanks for the tip.

That happened to my buddy's 96. He lost 5th and was able to limp home in 4th all the way from South Dakota to Eastern WI. Took him forever with the 4.10 gears his truck has...

This truck doesn't look tiny pulling my trailer like the 1990 D-350 does.

I guess the Alzheimer's is kicking in because I thought I told everybody. You're the 3rd person here lately that said they didn't know.
