Just curious as to what difference the install has done for your times.. what are your times?

The best I could do with street tires was 2.111, either bogged are left with too much boost.

I dropped .2 but could probably do better with better slicks. Also the OBX lets you do a proper 2 wheel burnout, ;)

My '87 T2 Shadow has gotten ~1.8x 60's with each of the combos below:

A520 (3.50:1) 24.5" M&H
A555 (3.85:1) 24.5" M&H
A555 Hybrid (3.50:1) OBX 24.5" M&H
A555 Hybrid (3.50:1) OBX 23" M&H

the car doesn't have enoughass to pull the big meatss with the hybrid looooong gear combo... same 60' but picked up a consistent ~0.10s in the 1/4 by going to the 23" tires.

If your using slicks it wont make that much of a difference, on the street is where it works best.

no notable 60 gain. however, it corners better, doesn't do one wheel peels, and is a TON more predictable when the wheels do spin, which now, without slicks, is always (you'll really wish you have one when you start breaking the tires free at 90+ mph).

simply put, slicks or not, if you spin, it is very helpful, and I will go on a limb and say it is the best mod I have done to my car (excluding standalone etc, how about best suspension/drivetrain mod?)

I concur 1000%. I will never build another turbo TM without one, but my R/T will have to wait until next winter when my money tree starts growing,
