will a T1 computer work with the blow through set up

i have an 85 T1 charger. before this next track season is over i hope to have the complete T2 conversion done, with intercooler. right now though i want to do the blow through coversion. can i use the stock T1 computer with the blow through setup and just run 10psi for now until i get a different computer

It will work if you can control the idle speed. The '85 system uses a 2-wire AIS control that doesn't fit the blow-thru throttle body. I did it on my car and it actually ran pretty strong but I had to bleed the MAP and run 17 psi boost pressure with the 33 lb. injectors or it would be too rich.

That sounds right. Idle control and too much fuel will be a problem unless you get '88 T1 injectors.

Here's an old thread, I ran for 2 years on an inter-cooled T1 with a modded blow through t.b., you will immediately feel a difference.
