It appears I may be losing some of my storage later this year, so I decided I'd go ahead and post these cars for sale now so I don't get in a jam later.

*UNDER DEPOSIT* '89 CSX #009. This is the one that was listed on Craigslist here in Louisville 3 months ago. Car is rustfree except for some surface rust on the hood and deck lid, also comes with a nice set of Motegi MR-7 wheels and like new Goodyear radials in addition to the Fiberides. Has a 2.5 and busted 555 in it now. DS tie rod is bent, DS rear quarter window is broken out, one Fiberide has a bit of curb rash and one has a small chunk out of the lip. The two other Fiberides are fine. All Shelby item are there except for the valvecover and dash plaque. Even still has the Shelby floormats. Front GFX is MIA, side GFX are fine, rear GFX has a 3" tear but is repairable. Shelby interior items are in nice shape, although the column is busted where someone tried to jimmy it at one point. Odo shows 82K miles. Car has a good Kentucky title. I don't have pics at the moment, and don't know when I'll have the opportunity to get them. $1000 FIRM.

*WITHDRAWN* My brother wants it. '87 CSX #726. Rustfree, body is straight, car was Ziebart rustproofed early in it's life. Nice interior although the headliner is starting to fall. All Shelby items are present and intact. Car will need a head and headgasket and a little wiring work at the A/C relay (mice!). Paint is faded on hood, roof and bit on the hatch. IIRC 135K miles, bone stock except for a K&N drop-in filter and Shelby CSX Stage II computer. Good Kentucky title. I have pics somewhere, I'll try to dig them out. $1400 FIRM.

Hmm,possibly interested in the 89. Is it a Recarro car? How hard would it be to get some pics?

Non-Recaro, non-wide tire car. It's not stored at my house, doesn't run, is stored in a tight Model T size garage where I can't get pics worth a hoot unless I drag it out in the alley. If it's convenient I'll get pics but I'm pretty strapped timewise.

Ok,I would like to know how the ground effects are as well. How is the interior? How soon you lloking to get rid of it?

I believe this was the thread about the '89 initially. Hope you don't mind me posting it...

Thanks for digging the thread out, I'm not sure if the pics are still in the thread though.

I have some old school Mopar stuff I'm selling off too, so depending on what sells off and when, I may wind up keeping one or both CSXes. Not totally losing storage, but I definitely need to thin the herd.

Does the 87 run well enough to be shipped? If it does can you send me some pics?

Thanks

Doesn't run at the moment. Been sitting awhile and I think the fuel system needs to be cleaned out. It'll try to fire but won't light, no codes. I've just stored it in a garage for the last few years and haven't done anything with it.

Well,if the snow stays away this weekend you will have an empty spot for it. The more I think about it the more I really didnt want to have to buy that 89. I am getting 2 R/Ts and another 91 Shelby in the next few weeks:eyebrows:

*shakes head* Not like you have enough as it is huh?!

So Dave, this puts you one step closer to having one of every numbered car. Now you gotta find a GLHS Charger, Shelby Lancer, and Shelby Dakota! Get to it, hup two!

I've got a lead on a Charger already, not sure how that will pan out, and I know of a Lancer that is local I might be able to snag, and there is a Dakota being driven around milwaukee by a 90 year old man with kidney failure that has my name and contact info in the glove box for when he decides to sell it. So if all that pans out I could meet my goal this year.

That would give me the complete set, too bad they are probably some of the rattiest examples of each one.

Well...I'm dredging this ad back up. I'll cut the '87 CSX #726 to $1200 firm and the '89 CSX #009 stays at $1000 firm. '89 comes with a set of 5x100 Motegi MR-7 wheels and like new Goodyears in addition to the Fiberides. See descriptions of the cars further up in the ad. Both have good titles

If they don't go fairly quickly I'm going to strip the Shelby, TII and VNT parts off them and send the bodies off to the junkyard.
