It went smoothly and is significantly faster and has a quicker connection! Should be sweet!

I noticed one of my posts was lost. It was in the thread about the ebay car cover seller that stole kevin's car picture. Did we lose anything else in the transfer?

Just a few posts. It wasn't because of the move... it was actually because the DNS did not update quick enough so that everyone was directed to the new server so in turn posts were made on the old server.

Ya it is screaming now!

Can you look into the pic uploading again? I'm trying to upload pics averaging 1024 x 768 and about 700kb. After I hit upload it goes to the confirmation page...after that it goes to a blank page and no pics get uploaded.

Weird...some just started popping up in the album.

The site seems slower for me personally.

Frank

Which aspects?

Turbo3Iroc

Page loads are taking quite a bit longer than they used to.

Frank

We need to give it some time. If traffic is not being routed properly because we have changed IPs and locations, then we could have some problems. It does not appear to be a problem with server by a long shot. For example at 3am after we completed the move, half my traffic was going to the old server.... I couldn't tell which server I was looking at. It was weird!

If people could post some trace routes that would be good. Do the following....

Start -then- Run -then type- cmd -press enter and type in- tracert turbo-mopar.com > c:\temp.txt

Once it is done, repaste the contents of that file to here...

Thanks!

See if it is better folks.... I think we are actually being plagued by what I described above and a few settings that did not carry over to the new server that are expounding the previous problem.

Let me know.

This isn't working for me. It just drops down to the next line so I typed it in again and repeat.

It is working. You just need to go to your c:\ drive and open the file that says temp.txt

You don't have to do it anymore. It appears to have been the settings. Have you noticed a big improvement in performance?

You click on the Web Hosting link and nothing comes up besides online users.

I need to get another hosting plan with you for our club's site. I'll PM you about it this week once Ihave things ready to go.
