Site updated again 06-18-2008.
Engine bay is painted. Some parts installed.

New site address:
http://web.mac.com/ajakeski/GLH-T/GLH-T.html

I'm going to document the restoration of our GLH here. I also plan to fine tune the site as I go.

Have you seen the prices on A,F, and late B(Magnums) bodies??

Hehe, gotta love the ''driveway dragster''. Not to sound like I'm full of BS, but I kid you not there is a 71' Wagon running around here painted Lime Green, it has a Hemi hood scoop though and says 383 on it. But I think it's an automatic. I haven't seen it for a little bit but he probably stores it for the winter I'm sure. Wish I could see it and snap a pic, but I usually only see it for a second or 2 never enough time to whip out the camera.

BTW, looks like you are off to a great start. I like to see a resto done right, and not half-azzed. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for that GLHT?

The car is looking good Andy! Glad to see the parts off my rusty red GLH go to a good home. I'll get with you and Tony soon to talk about other projects/parts.

AJ, Looks like you have made impressive progress already. I had floors worse than that on my Charger. Dont you just "love!" a challenge. LOL. This will be great. I'm looking forward to the finish.

My van has a bit of rust but ran great.Im not scared of it. I needed something to hone my rust repair skills before I tackle my Dart.I think saving any older car is great!

Updated the site. Tips on adding legroom in the GLH.
Time is scarce right now, so updates are going to be few. After March, we should get things rolling again.

Looking good. I just wish I could find a GLH-something Omni. Girlfriend and I are looking at maybe having a kid. I refuse to sell my SC though, just want something four door and fast enough to smoke the mustangs and camaro's in our area.

nice progress on the car.

off topic, please tell me you'll be married before you have a kid?? i can tell you from experiance, make sure everything is right/ready BEFORE you have kids. not preaching... just experiance.

anyways, keep up the good work on the car. i'm subscribed to see the process!!

Off Topic: No, we are not married YET.
Working on that too, just bought the ring, now have to find some sort of "romantic" way to give it to her.
She's on DEPO, that was a fight, but no kid for three months now :D

ON TOPIC:I'm excited to see the finish!

Updated again. Hopefully not the last update for the summer. I've been busy with other things for a while, but I plan on getting back to work on the Omni soon.

Looking good. I like the fact that you chose to restore a GLH. Not too many of you guys out there. There needs to be more. I plan on doing my lancer much the way you have done yours. I dig the silver face radio with the EQ. I found one of those at a local boneyard the other day and I plan on going there today to check to see if most of the things I want are still there. Maybe just maybe I will get lucky.
