Can't Access T-M.com at times

Why is it that I can't access Turbo-Mopar.com at various times? It's mostly on weekends, but it happens sometimes during the week. I've noticed that posts were made during times when I couldn't access the site. Is it something on my end or is it happening to others?

I don't see why anyone would DDOS this site, but if they were attacking a site on a "nearby" server it can make servers behind a common router go down as well. I've notice a lot of intermittent downtime as well. No acks coming back.

I mean after all, he owns the domain turbo-mopar.net and it links right to his site. :rolleyes: Seems to me like trying to get those people who type our site address here in wrong.


I could not get on last night either, and its been acting like that for a number of months now. Is it something with the vBulletin forum setup though? Seems like BM experiences the same problem that TM does at the same time :confused2:

It was a DDOS which is not the first time, however the first DDOS was a full out attack and was noticed by EV1 and they stopped it. This time it was a non bandwidth attack, but instead attacked our services/processing power with invalid requests. There were also alot of requests from IPs that have already been blocked. Those requests still ahve to be handled and denied. Our loads were shooting from a nominal .30-.60 all the way up to 50+!!!!! We are in the process of purchasing a new server anyway.

Ya last night, they slapped the Fireslayer software on the attack and appeared to have stopped it. Time will tell.
