I think Heath bought that exhaust from Turbos Unleashed... Give Chris a call there and I'm sure Chris can explain.

This is the FWD Perofrmance spirit 3" kit from the front to the back. No cat, has a test pipe and a muffler installed

can we get clarification? There is no 91 Iroc R/T. The 1991-92 spirit R/T has a different exhaust than the 1992-93 Iroc R/T.

hey cindy thanks for the pic's. my car is a 91 spirit r/t but the exhaust for a 92-93 iroc r/t. i ordered the 3'" cat back and shifter bushings for the spirit. do you think we could work out some kind of trade for the exhaust?

i will get a pic in a little bit of a whole 3" exhaust, dp to bumper all welded up off of the car, i havent put it back on yet so your in luck. it has a 2.5" muffler on the end of it but thats getting swapped for a 3" dynomax but it will give you a great shot of it all together.

my 3" exhaust from daytona/shadow fit onto my spirit. they had to add a few inches of straight pipe....then they did some cutting on the rear over axle pipe and smushed it flatter to make through the gas tank area :(

im kinda hoping I can save it still and put it on my CSX....i should never have put that nice SS exhaust on the spirit!!! I cant even buy a regular 3" kit now for the price i bought the SS one a few years back!!

i paid 160 for my 3" from fwd and the only thin i had to do was make one cut. i needed to knock 8 inches off cause it came long enough that i didn't need a cat but i wanted to have it on so i cut it

yeah for the aluminized pipe. if you add up a 3" stainless steel down pipe, SS 3" exhaust kit, test pipe istead of cat and a 3" dynomax (6" welded can) your looking at about $600 including shipping. thats what i have on my red r/t.

i've been thinking about welding on a 3.5" chrome tip, what do you guys think?

i would want it to be tucked in a little more, take 2" off before the muffler.

you need to tuck it in 4", cant have it stick out past the bumper

that might be a little hard to do with the dynomax after the axle, i might have to put it back to where the cat goes to be able to tuck it in that far.

i dont need the second one in that pic if you want one for your spirit.

Which is why I put mine after the cat and it looks perfect, sounds great too.

thats how i had it on my shadow, right where the cat goes (no cat), but it was a side exit.

how does the sound differ from the 2 locations?

I don't know how it sounds in the stock location but here's how mine sounds right after the cat. Keep in mind this is with the stock SV and DP, the sound should change when I get the new ones on. Everything else is 3" mandrel.
