Don't tell my girlfriend but I have been looking to pick up a GLH-T. I would like it to be rust free and don't care if it runs. I don't plan on keeping the poopy 8-valve in it anyway.:D Nice paint and decent suspension would be a plus. I can't travel too far so I am mainly looking in the midwest (MN,WI,IA,SD,IL,etc.) If you have something, let me know.

Thanks,
Ryan

Is Jesse still selling his gold 86?

I am not sure, I thought he decided to keep it?

I will have to look around for his ad.

I think he only has it posted in the parts for sale section on TD.com. It really doesnt make sense but thats how he did it.

I just talked to him (via email) it sounds like he will end up keeping it. I am still going to check it out and most likely fall in love. I think his might be in too good of shape then what I am looking for though, I am looking for something to turn into a freeway monster/strip car.

With that said BUMP!:thumb:

I would also consider an Omni or Horizon in good shape, with little to no rust. Once again whether it runs or not does not matter.

Weekend BUMP!

This would be a good candidate for a non turbo Omni that you could do a swap into.

This is not mine and I do not know who it is. I just saw it on Craigslist this weekend.

55,000 mile Omni, no rust (http://detroit.craigslist.org/car/558636039.html)

I've got an '89 Omni that I use as my daily driver. I cloned it (cosmetically) into a GLH by adding the ground effects, foglights, grille and headlight bezels, as well as 4 lug pizza wheels. I repainted it in November 2006 and it's been my daily driver since January '07. Runs like a top -- 2.2 TBI/Auto. Has a very nice interior (red) and the exterior is in pretty decent shape too, ask anybody from the SWPA-SDAC.

Has like new 195/50/15 Kuhmo all season tires on it (probably 1,500 miles at the most) as well as a new headliner I did not too long ago. RUST FREE!! The only issue is, it has started to leak from the drivers side a-pillar and water sometimes runs down the kickpanel and onto the carpet.

I don't realy want to sell it, but if you are interested at my price, we'll talk. PM me.

That looks really nice! I have a couple GLH's that I have been inquiring about. None of which look as nice as your clone... Well Jessie's gold GLH-T but I think that is too nice for what I want right now. I will keep you in mind!

Thanks,
Ryan

Yo!
Bump up the thread
Bump it up
While your feet are stompin'
And the thread is bumpin'
Look at here the crowd is jumpin'
Bump it up a little more
Get the party going on the dance floor
Seek us that's where the party's at
And you'll find out if you're too bad
I don't want a place to stay
Get your boody on the floor tonight
Make my day
Bump up the thread Bump it up
A Bump it up yo Bump it

Changed some of the lyrics to Pump it up...

I am still looking. I found a few rollers but are too far away and would cost a lot to ship here. I am starting to work on my R/Ts again so I am in less of a rush, I still want to have a GLH-T to rip around in though.

Not real good pics, but it was a nice car. Of course I'm partial to white cars.

I already talked to him, not sure if that car is for me. It has a rust hole in the rear passenger door sill. I am trying to avoid rust as much as possible. When I called him it sounded like he didn't want to sell it.

If you're looking in the midwest for a rust free car, I wish you good luck!

i have a fair body rampage, what more can you ask for in an L-body, the thing weighs 2400lbs at the most and once a little body work comes into play, that thing will probably drop weight

It sounds like I found one, now only if the owner would hurry up and get back to me so I can look at it.

Rust free cars are around, but they are hard to find. For some people keeping a car clean must be way too much work. Wait a minute, my wife is a perfect example of this.
