Looking to sell my '89 dodge caravan. This van is one of the cleanest vans I have seen. I am selling it because I am going to school, and I need money. The van is basically stock, other than a daytona intercooler, and a daytona boost gauge in the dash. It still has the original exhaust.

The good:

Its basically stock with 170,000. I have never had it over stock boost. It is my daily driver, and works great. No smoke at all, spools great. Haven't done any mods to it because I wanted reliability more than performance. It has a pioneer double din head unit. Only mods are the intercooler, and the head unit. I had to remove the a/c to mount the I/C, but I kept all of the a/c stuff, in case I ever wanted to reinstall it.

The bad:

There is always "the bad" with a TM.

My mechanic said there is a crack in the block. I was going through alot of antifreeze, and he found a little split on the rear of the block by the freeze out plug. I had a sealer put in the motor, and it seems to be holding up ok. The stuff that was used was $60 a quart, and was HIGHLY recommended. I am taking the van back on monday to have the fan fixed and the heater core cleaned out. After these are done all it will need is a set of brakes, which I will install before selling, and it is ready to go. It has a extremely tiny exhaust leak at the muffler, but you only can tell when its cold out. You can see the exhaust coming out at the spot. other than that its good.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I am not looking for any trades at this time, because I need money for school.

I also have a T2 garret and a ported exhaust manifold for sale too. Whoever buys the van has first dibs on them. I also have a good '89 2.5 with just over 100k out of another mini. I just have to get the van home and pull the motor out.
Thanks for looking, I will try to get some updated pics soon. my camera died, so I will have to borrow one.

asking $2200 obo

Thanks

Price drop to $1500. It needs to go. I might be lowering it again, if the coolant leak doesn't stop.

Thanks

Looks like it needs a freeze out plug behind the starter, and a new fan relay. Other then that its good. I am having them both done this week.

I'm interested.

Auto or 5spd?

Have any other pics? Id like to see under the hood and the interior.

Think it would hold up on a long trip? (Ohio)

It has the auto trans. I personally wouldn't drive it that far, but thats not saying it wouldn't make it.
As of now, i do not have a camera to take more pics. I am working on trying to borrow one.
