Buying a 2000 Impreza Wagon.

Car was driven into a ~2ft lake.

Car started after, but now will not start...

Ecu?

Crank position sensor??


I am new to Subarus, so I need all the help I can get.




Also since the car is all wheel drive.l...It must be towed w/ all four off the ground right? Any tips on how to do this?

Push it back into the lake.

That how US Turbo dodge guys would do it..Either that or just sell it to someone else and use that money to put into our cars.:peace:

might have hydrolocked the engine if it was started immediately after without taking the spark plugs out to make sure the water was all out.

you have to tow it with a trailer.

Well, it never stoped running during, so The motor is fine..he got lucky there...

I found the issue..ECU was SOAKED...

BTW: Im using this as a DD while I work on my 3 turbo mopars...(88' shadow es w/ lm/pm setup, 2.5 CB, TII swap, Front mount, +20's, ECT(build list is three pages long, its getting a ground up rebuild) And my 87 aries wagon TII swap, and parts TI 87' shadow es)
