i have a 1991 shelby daytona im willing to get rid of. car is black with sunroof. the paint is in bad shape but there is very little rust considering what it is. about 90,000 original miles, i bought it with 87,000 on it and the odometer when out when i was using it as my daily driver. comes with lots of spare parts too. i have a long block out of an 88 new yorker. an entire front clip off of a 1989 shelby including the hood. i have the 5 speed transmission out of the 1989 shelby, the garret turbo off the 89. a set of rear window louvers, and a bunch of other miscelaneous stuff. i would like to get 1500 for all this stuff. pm or e-mail me at mattikus17@msn.com.

I know a lot of you are use to dealing with car rust. It has been my expierance that it is cheaper to pay shipping on a rust free car than to fix a rusty one. Not to mention that rust is often like cancer. It will return........

89ES in Dillsburg pa for sale on ebay again, yes its a TI with 5spd, but add IC and you have a shelby for all intensive purposes. 400$ its the gray one that was on there before.

its not exactly a "short drive" to just go look at

Simsy

hell if its under a 3 hour drive, i go look at any car thats a deal as in under 1K, ive driven up to 6hrs each way to pick up cars and tow them home, im not a trucker, dealer or anything, just another person that gets the car they want, regardless of crying about the distance to look at one. not like i buy everyone i look at, they are trips that i dont get a car, sometimes i see others along the way

if it was an actual TII car id buy it regardless

Xtrempickup
02-23-2008, 06:41 PM
actual TII cars on the whole are only about 2 parts different, but thats all im gonna say. i would go give the guy 200$ and call it a day and put a FMIC in it with a recal and destroy any weak TII you might find for 1500-1800. thats just me tho, good luck in your picky search there is one in WA, i think you could drive it home for 1500$ itsa TII and a 87

at least somebody looked at it. still could be a good buy now its worth talking the guy down to 100$ and building a better motor for it. hmmmmm masi motor just sitting here....... wouldn't be a bad body for it

expand your range.......... sure something can be worked out to get it to you. There was a tII daytona here for 1500 with a fresh rebuild. I will be going to Poquoson Va in May. Could tow it that far.

How about an 87 Shelby Z nearly rust free and by nearly i mean like springs and small amounts of surface rust. Almost perfect blue leather interior threw rod through the pan. All electronics intact, it is a solid roof car no sunroof or t tops, New shocks in the rear. But exterior wise it has some light hail damage and could use a paint job. Asking 800 bucks for it. Possibly have a fresh rebuilt 2.5 for it as well if you would like it. It is currently in my 89 es. I will do a package deal if you would like them both say 1500 bucks for both cars and every turbo dodge part that i can find in my driveway and garage.
