I've got an '86 Daytona turbo-z CS. I currently have some junk floor mats that move forward and get in the clutch. I keep having to pull it back with my left foot while I'm driving.

Did these cars come with special floor mats?

What do you all use for floor mats?

89-91 Daytona Shelby's came with 'Daytona' stitched floormats. They're hard to come by though.

To be honest, those big heavy duty rubber ones from Wal*Mart or Advance Auto really tend to stay in place, and work out well in weather like this by preventing the water from slush/snow/rain from getting onto your carpet.

I love the thick rubber ones. When I lived in northern Indiana, they were great with the slush and snow. But now I live in the nice warm south (we're getting ready for our 2nd snow tomorrow) now and they really aren't necessary.

I guess Ill just have to keep going to the JY ever time they show on the web that they've got a Daytona in.

Both of my '86 Daytonas had those as well. But they're long gone.
