View Full Version : A new project-real projector headlights-pics added.

Scored some M3 projector units for $100 locally, so going to use some old stock headlamps and make some real HID projector headlights for the van. I am hoping it shouldn't be that hard, I think the worst part will be making it look clean. Pics as I go along. :D

I didn't realize but there bi-zenon, so I will now have low and hi beams. It should be really easy to make, I just need to make a flat flange from them to sit on as there is a nice flat 4 bolt flange on the lights.

Be cooler still if I can make these work and look clean.

My HID supplier has D2S bulbs that work with there ballasts, :amen:

Keep us updated. I really, really, really want some angel-eye projectors for my Duster, but I have zero fabrication skills.

Screw clean, use the shrinkage to push 'em out to the sides and put in ram air intakes in the gap :D

Actually, I'd figure on using an early dual stack headlight bezel.
