Car is running and all ready to go...no work needed...we have reciepts and paper work for all things done to the car including the engine from dodge!

Any rust? Hows the floors? Looks like a decent ride.

The floors arent bad..the tubes for the sunroof were clogged up so there was some rust in the drivers side floor but we got all of it out and replaced it we with some new sheet metal..we also re ran the hoses from the sunroof to go directly out of the car.

Other than that there is no rust..and yes it is a very solid car..it was my first and it was a project for me and my dad to work on so we went through the whole car and kept the receipts and paper work for everything..

Like mentioned above the one main down point is the appearance, the paint is fading and its missing the front ground effects..

There arent any major dents or body work issues except the ground effects...

this was my first car and always recieved alot of compliments about it!

Cool, got any pics of the floor repair?

Thanks, the SRT wheels need to be offset out about an inch (at least in the rear) to fill the wheel well better tho.

Hm i thought i could just pull up the carpet but i cant...im heading up to go snowboarding now ill be back saturday and ill take pics right away...but what we did was just knock out any rust up until it was solid sheet metal and put a new piece with sealant and pop riveted it..now from what i remember it wasnt that bad..alot smaller than a piece of paper(trying to give you something to compare it too ha)

Pics will be up saturday morning! Let me know if there are any other spots you need any of!

is that the original steering wheel in the car? i figured I'd ask you now since you said you were the original owner. I have an 84 Turbo Z... if I hadn't just bought that in September.... I might be on my way up there now from PA

sorry, i misread... you said it was your first car, not that you were the original owner/...... my bad

I thought that the regular (Grant...I supose) steering wheel was stock in them, but I wasn't sure until I saw yours with the other (nice looking CS wheel) in it

I like the one I have in my 84. the early pentastar horn, black finish and leather wrapped wheel from the 84's. ( kinda looks like the 86 and 87 glhs wheel, but it's painted black instead of being a natural finish on the metal...and the horn button is configured differently.

The one you put in looks better than the original!
