I'm on the hunt for a holder for my wideband sensor. Anyone know of one other than the $75-85 tailpipe holder that Innovate sells? Portability is the main criteria, so welding a bung won't work for the other cars I want to use it on. I'd rather not coble something together with bailing wire. Any leads are appreciated.

Why not just weld the sensor to a C clamp or equivalent.

you want to get your sample from a ways up the pipe so it's not conaminated with fresh air. That's why the innovate holder is the way it is. Or sniffers at the dyno or emmisions place go way up the pipe.

you can use copper tubing and solder them together. use a short section of 3/4 -1" copper tubing with adapters to neck it down to 3/8" tubing on either end that are 1' to 18". one end goes in the tailpipe, the other end out the end.

the sensor bung gets brazed to the middle of the larger diameter pipe as a chamber.

i saw this design somewhere but i cant remember where.
