Does anyone know of a black leather dye or paint that works pretty well? I'd love to get my 87' enthusiast seats black so it matches the rest of the car, and the older black enthusiast seats are almost impossible to find in decent shape.

You can't usually dye or paint seats, because when you sit on them and move around the stuff will flake off.

Contact a furniture upholsterer, they may be able to suggest something, or depending on the price, have them do it. soft vinyl and leather is a bi*ch because it is so flexible, plus you want a good quality job done so that it doesn't stain your clothes!

anying SEM should work pretty darn good. Just make sure that everything is at room tempeture, and that it is VERY clean. Clean with soap and water. AMonia will work good to if you have it, but not necessary.
