Also interested in this, I've been looking for a way to do a hybrid w/out having to use a dizzy. Hate the idea of having to use one.

3.0L's have a dizzy, ;)

I was hoping to use an "extra" output to run the coil pack, and I think the 3.3 and 3.8 have coil packs, which is what I had been looking at previously. But if someone is using a 3.0L computer, I "assumed" that the reason was to allow the use of the coil pack, it seems I may be a bit off base? What was your reason for wanting to use a V6 computer?

Apparantly they ran a 3.0L cal and computer on a hybrid and make killer power. They moved a couple wires and used the spare injectors to add more fuel at higher boost. The 3.0L spark and fuel curves match a hybrid. Trying to find if this is true.

Interesting, if I was up to speed on burning my own cals, it would be interesting to see if it would be possible to "cut and paste" bits of code from the V6 into another cal. From what little I know, it would seem possible in theory, but I don't know about in practice. Get too far into code and it all seems like black magic to me.

are you talking about SMEC SBEC or SBEC II ecus?

I have no idea, hence the thread. ;)
