Well the transfer case on my '02 Ram fried... 2nd major powertrain repair in only a year of owning it. Decided to trade it in instead of fixing it, tired of it breaking. Thought I got a great deal on it when I got it used last year, but obviously whoever had it before me didn't take good care of it.
After 2 days of fighting with my local Dodge dealer, I finally drove home yesterday with an Electric Blue 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab 4x4 Hemi. :thumb: I still owed $13k on my '02, could only get the dealer to give me just under $11k for it (first offer they made was $7500 for it, HA!). Since my company has a deal with Chrysler that gets me any new vehicle for 1% BELOW invoice, plus whatever current incentives they have, I still walked away with the truck well below invoice. Got it for $30k even. Would have only costed me just under $28k if it wasn't for my trade. Still managed to get it with no money down and having the dealer pay off my trade, so I guess I made out OK. MSRP was just under $38k, invoice was right around $34k on it.
The new truck isn't quite as nice on the inside as my old one, options are a little different, but I definately like driving it a lot more. The new Hemi beats that crap out of my old 360 that's for sure. Haven't had time to get any pics yet, it was -9F and dark outside when I got home with it last night. I have guard all weekend, but I'll try to get some pics up this weekend.
