I found a '93 Daytona in a salvage yard with the nose section in great shape, and I'd like to swap it onto the front end of my '87 Daytona.
Is that a fairly easy swap?
I'd like to get away from the pop-up headlights of my '87. Plus, I like the looks of the '93 nose.

Thanks.

I don't think the hoods line up, so you'd have to grab the whole front end... nose, fenders, and hood

yuppers, and although i'm not 100% on this one, you may need the 93 rad core support as well due to a different hood latching point....wireing for the headlamps is different...ect... list goes on. it's not an easy one to do but if you have the skills and know-how it's do able

Rats. The fenders on the '93 are in good shape but the hood is missing.
Oh well.
Thanks for the replies.

Hi, I am not sure for 87 but I know for sure that it can be done to an 88. It is nearly plug and play. I haven't done it myself, but a guy in Germany did it once he had an accident with his 88 Daytona.

that DOES look nice...
If i ever get bandit back I may have to consider the 4G front end swap...
(like the pop ups but one motor went nuts, only goes up half way, and then it goes opposite the other, if one goes down the other goes up, so right now they are both up and unplugged)
Plus I LOVE the 4g front ends..
