i have a 86 glhs engine with mopar stage 2 comp what do i need to set my ignition timing to? the dizzy bolt loosened and i think it is off. anyways thanks for the help guys. oh and another ez1. ho do you get the nob off the lightswitch?

i think it is 12 deg with the plug removed at the therm housing that makes the fan run. I think... someone correct if incorrect.

12 deg, correct. The connector is the coolant sensor.

Yup, 12 degrees. Get the engine warm and disconnect the coolant temp sensor by the t-stat with it running. set timing. Reconnect connector. Shut the car off, remove the ign key, disconnect the battery for a minute or two, hook it back up and drive away.

To remove the headlight switch you need to reach up under the dash and feel for the headlight switch. There will be a small button on the bottom side, probably 3/16" wide. Press the button in and pull out on the headlight knob. It might take several tries to get it out as it can be a pain.
