im in the middle of rebuilding my 2.2 common block and my machine shop said my crank is all buggered up. So im posting in hopes of finding a 2.2 (89+) common block forged crank that either has been turned or is in rebuildable shape. It would be great if you had or could get it checked to see if its true.

THANKS!
and please get back to me right away if you can

Consider a 2.2L cast cb crank. Less rotating mass and NOT an issue strength wise.. I won't build a CB 2.2L with a forged crank 7lbs rotating mass is a lot of spinning mass.

there is no such thing as a 2.2 cast fora CB, i think you ment 2.5

reason why i need it is cause my pistons are for 2.2 and they are brand new:)

No I did not... Shadows recieved the 2.2L N/A CB as did Omni's before they were discontinued. You can sitll buy the cast crank...

I will not build a CB 2.2 with a forged crank...

It looked worse than it was, I went over there and with him not really knowing them like I do, I told him it was fine, the keyway is a bit damaged but he filed it and the key fits snugly and the fact that the sprocket is a very tight fit, it will be fine. I will tack this on your bill, :eyebrows:
