I may need to do an emergency engine swap. I will be puttin a 2.5 turbo into my Shadow. What car can I get a computer from to make it work with my 1988 5 spd Shadow?

88 and 89 are both SMEC cars, so one from an 89 2.5 TI speed car would probably be your best bet.

What about for interior electronics, will smecs from vans, daytonas and barons work?

88 Didn't have any type of body computer so the SMEC from anything should work. Vans have a slightly different case, but they will can still be used.
