I need an aluminum intake preferably with a spreadbore pattern for a 318 late model engine. Where's the best deal. I'm in Canada.

summit has an edelbrock performer rpm air-gap for the magnum for $300us..

pricey compared to the old small block chevy stuff but thats about as good as it gets as far as street manifold design.

i would think summit would be able to ship to canada easily but im no expert, never tried.

id really like if they made one for the 3.9 :(

dakota-durango.com might be a good place to check the classifieds.

An RPM air gap won't have a spreadbore pattern. Neither will the mopar performance one that jegs sells-

Why do you want a spreadbore? They suck! Go with an edelbrock performer 600.

Mopar M1 single plane P5007380 has square/spread pattern. Summit has em for around $240.00.

I've come to love thermoquads. Can an ordinary distributor work in a magnum motor?

I believe so but you'll need the special drive gear if you have a roller cam.

Check your local dealership for an intake thru MP.

Need a bronze or sintered(sp?) iron gear on a bone stock Mag roller.

Thermoquads stink!
If you love the spreadbore you'd have a Q-Jet!:eyebrows:
Embrace the Q-Jet! Love it!!:D

They both suck, but the Q-jet can be built correctly.

Could someone offer up a reference/link to the gear?/ adapter for a roller cam? Also are there any other nasty surprises I'll find out about when switching over to the magnum motor? what about timing marks and reference? I won't be fuel injected and will be using the older 727 trans.
