Well I got some new tires put on and figured I'd go take a few pics. Kinda was running out of light so not the best. The tires are Yokohama Avid H4S.

And a quick run to 100. The 2-3 shift sucks because the syncro is out so that's why I shift like I do lol. Should ran it a little closer to 6k but filming and driving is work haha.

i still have the GTS original A555 in my garage if you want it. it would be a good core for a rebuild (and #s matching...the VIN is stamped in the case fwiw). otherwise i'll be on the lookout for some other replacement. with any luck maybe i can find a cheap A523 or something in Denver. i had an A568 in that car a few years ago, you might like the A523/A568 shifter better.

Thats weird how it only took a second do go from 30-50, but then it seemed to get weak after that.

Good show. :) Nice pull in that first gear, I think you may be sucking in hot air with the filter where it is though. :)

it was spinning tire like crazy down low, that is why the speedo jumps straight up until he got traction again. i think the reason it gets slow is probably because it is pulling timing. 20psi is alot for a stock T2 turbo and intercooler.

yeh, it looks to be slower than a good running stock t2.. maybe more is less in this case. of course that tranny also has severe issues hehe

ahh... didnt notice he was spinning. I know how the speedometers work in these cars.... When I spun through 2nd, it would jump to like 70-80 sometimes lol.
