89 Dayton 2.2 T2 / Windshield Question

Hi, this may sound a stupid question:

My 89 Daytona Shelby has a quite a bad cut in the Windshield. Now, by looking at it it fellt a lot the same size windshield as they would be found on a 89 Lebaron.

Does anyone know, if they are interchangable? I will of cause have a look myself. Only that my part cars are some miles away and I won't be able to measure until tonight (my time).

Yes they will interchange Ive done it on my sons car,if its a t-top daytona shelby its a major pita because of all the pop riveted plastic molding.

Hi, I can actually confirm, that the windshield of an 89 Lebaron Convertible fits same year Daytona!!!!!! because I have done the swap! This may not be great news in the USA but it is definately great news for european Daytona owners. Because it means you can get your windshield repaired in all windshield chains such as carglass to give an example (they don't list the daytona but do list the lebaron).
